I would like to invite you to our monthly community meeting on Thursday, November 9 at 7pm. We will be hosting three outstanding candidates running in the 2024 Presidential election cycle. Light refreshments will be served.

Where: Bastrop Public Library Community Rm, 1100 Church StWe are excited that Senator Roland Gutierrez will be joining us. He is running to be our Dem elect to run against Ted Cruz for US Senator. He’s been a busy man at the Capitol, having scheduled and then having to miss our last two meetings due to last minute changes with his responsibilities as Senator. We are excited to have him join us!
He represents Texas Senate District 19 which includes Uvalde. He’s been a very vocal proponent for the families that were affected by the school shooting at Robb Elementary. He’s also had a front row seat at the historic impeachment trial of Texas AG Ken Paxton and he’s been in attendance at the three special sessions Gov. Abbott has called to try to pass school vouchers. He will have a lot to share.
